Get Paid, Not Busy
Let’s be real - marketing is not your job. Your job is to be a the incredible, seasoned professional that you know you are. You get paid to serve clients, not to chase likes, engagements, trends, or get suck in the never-ending content creation cycle of dread.
Marketing is important, but it’s a means to an end - not a full-time hustle. You’re not an influencer, you’re a service provider.
As yourself: Is my marketing strategy bringing in real revenue? If not, if your efforts are leading to more marketing instead of more leads or traffic, we have a problem.
I see too many pros stuck in the endless loop of “post more, hashtag more, video more” with no actual results. If it’s not bringing in leads, why are you still doing it?
Good marketing should get you booked, not busy with more marketing. More is just more for more’s sake.
Take stock. Make sure your efforts are making you money - not keeping you on the hamster wheel of doom.
You’ve likely heard this before, but it’s worth repeating: Likes don’t pay the bills.
Consider this your hall pass to stop chasing the vanity marketing. Get busy with things that get you booked.
