100-ish Word Thought: Throwing money is not a strategy
Paying for It Doesn’t Mean Ignoring It
Throwing money at your wedding business marketing isn’t a strategy. It’s a reaction. Often a knee jerk one at that.
When something feels confusing, overwhelming, or just flat out annoying, it’s tempting to pay someone else to “handle it.” And yes, you should outsource and get help. You’re not supposed to do this all alone.
But here’s the problem. When you throw money at something just to get it off your plate, you’re not solving the problem. You’re turning your head. You’re pushing it away.
Except that’s not what a business owner does.
You don’t need to write every blog post or manage every social media everything. But you do need to set the tone. You need to understand what’s happening and why. You need to drive the direction.
Otherwise, you’re not leading your marketing. You’re just hoping it works.
Hope isn’t a plan. Paying money for something isn’t a strategy. It’s just paying for something.
