100-ish Word Thought: Too Much?
Engagement Without Your Engagement
I don’t want much from my wedding business marketing.
Just a million followers, endless engagement, and tons of high-paying, low-maintenance dream clients all lined up to work with me. Oh, and no working nights and weekends, kk?
All while I barely post, share only the prettiest pictures in my super curated feed, give zero tips or advice, and definitely don’t bother proving I’m an expert at what I do.
No showing my process, no explaining my value, and no adapting to what actual engaged couples living in the very real world need from me or the services I have to offer.
I just want to keep doing what I feel like, not what works. Yet, I still want, nay expect, to get booked solid by amazing clients with huge budgets who don’t questions me and who totally get it.
Sounds reasonable, right?
Marketing only feels frustrating or unrealistic when you’re resisting what it’s actually for: connection, education, and trust.
When you shift from “What do I want to post?” to “What does my ideal client need to hear?” That’s when the leads start getting better, and your marketing starts doing its job, so you can get back to doing yours.
