100-ish Word Thought: Empty Chair
Let Your Client Speak Louder
When you create content, picture an empty chair across from you. That’s where your client sits. Your stressed out, confused, overwhelmed, exhausted, beautiful client.
Too often, wedding pros make marketing decisions based on what the algorithm rewards, what Instagram favors, what they enjoy posting, or even what gets the most engagement. Those things matter, sure. But they can’t be the priority.
The loudest voice in your marketing should be your client’s. Sitting in the chair across from you begging for you to make their life easier, better, and less overwhelming.
It's not about giving them what they want. Because, you and I both know that most of the time, they don’t know what they want. But, rather it's about giving them what they need.
And that’s where you come in.
You’re the expert. You know the questions they should be asking, the mistakes they can avoid, and the guidance that will serve them best.
So next time you post, ask yourself: am I talking to the algorithm, or to the client in the chair?
