100-ish Word Thought: High End Hustle

Helpful wedding business marketing advice; beige graphic reading "high end hustle"; Julianne Smith

Bigger is Just Bigger

There’s a lot of talk about high end clients and luxury, and what can only be described as desperation to book rich clients, because then all of your problems will be solved. This grass-is-greener thinking is not only wrong, it's misleading to think that the path to success is through high net-worth clients. Ideal clients and rich clients are not the same thing. In my own business, this is a true fact: Bigger budgets equal bigger problems. These are always the most difficult products to create where I spend more time than I charged for, thus I loose money on the deal. Profitability and rich clients are not mutually exclusive. Profit comes when you work with clients who value what you offer, regardless of their income. If they don't value what you offer, it doesn't matter how rich they are.
